Becky Buell is an internationally recognized expert in transformational leadership, organizational development, and systems change. As a Senior Faculty member and Board Director of the Presencing Institute. She has spent more than three decades supporting governments, United Nations agencies, foundations, and civil society organizations in strengthening collective leadership and driving sustainable transformation.
In 2021, she launched the UN SDG Leadership Labs, an initiative that has supported more than twenty UN Country Teams in accelerating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through collaborative leadership and systems-thinking approaches.
Prior to this role, Becky co-founded and led Meteos, a pioneering consultancy specializing in multi-stakeholder dialogue and collaboration among public, private, and philanthropic actors across sectors such as health, energy, and finance. Earlier in her career, she held several senior leadership positions with Oxfam GB, including assignments in Central America and Mexico, where she worked extensively on social justice, human rights, and development issues.
Becky holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University. She is widely recognized for her expertise in strategic leadership, social innovation, systems transformation, facilitation of complex dialogues, and the development of adaptive leadership capabilities in multicultural and multi-sector environments. Her work continues to influence global efforts to build more effective, collaborative, and future-oriented institutions.
