His career also includes senior positions at Bamburi Cement and McKinsey &amp; Company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Beyond corporate leadership, Mr. Kibati has played a pivotal role in shaping Kenya\u2019s economic and social agenda. As Director General of Vision 2030, he was instrumental in driving flagship projects across infrastructure, health, education, and governance, positioning Kenya as a regional hub for growth and innovation. In 2026, Mugo Kibati has been appointed by President William Ruto to spearhead the development of Kenya\u2019s long-term national framework, <em>Vision 2060<\/em>, building on the successes and lessons of Vision 2030.
